As above i have this control panel fitted to the new pajero, also it has what looks like heated front screen as in it has an electrical connection to the bottom of both sides of the screen,
Im after some info on this LCD type of control panel as in what are all the icons and what the various switches buttons are for on the panel and what needs to be turned on for front screen to heat/work if it is a heated screen !
Im sure iv seen some info on these panels before iv searched but no info can i find. |

Is it a MkII ?
If so the heated screen is only the bottom couple of inches - the idea is to unfreeze the wipers id they get stuck on cold mornings.
Is the LCD screen this one?

This is what I have found out by trial and error - nothing about it in the handbook.
The snowflake icon is "aircon on" and "auto" means the blower will switch on and off to keep the temperature at whatever you have set on the temperature knob.
The arrows show which vents the air comes out of - and if air is coming in from outside or in recirculation mode.
Pressing the button next to the round temperature knob puts the air to defrost the windscreen - and it switches the aircon on to do this (maybe to help dry out the air in the cab). The aircon seems to stay on after using the defrost button then I have to press the power button once or twice quickly to turn the aircon off and just leave the heater on. |
