Hi all
I have posted a hello I'm the general area but wanted to say hi in here aswell as
Names Dan and live near Hull. Recently picked up a 56 plate Trojan 2.5td. Needs little bits looking at such as 12v sockets etc. But apart from that just needs a good looking after
Owned my disco td5 for a good time and not a stranger to getting mucky and doing bits myself

Lol yup , what happened to your disco ?
I'm good btw thanks - jumped on the shogun bandwagon as soon as I realised they come with centre diff lock and rear diff air locker as standard

She ran and ran until I started working 7 days a week with work. I used it less and less and then she wanted more and more doing to her.
So I cut her loose and just got a mile munching audi a6. Had that for a year but it was no good if I wanted to go camping or even to the local tip. So needed something more ....well me
So started looking and settled on a shogun sport
What about you? |

Sold mine a while back , guy from my response unit fell in love with it offered me £6.5k for it iirc and as was moving to a new house I wanted to free up some cash to spend on the house
I can't say I miss spending all my time and money repairing it either tbh ,, I've got a brand new Astra as a daily and when I'm going off-road etc the shogun is just so reliable I don't think you can beat them for value |

Yeh that's the impression I got for the reliability and the parts seem so much cheaper aswell
I think the accessories and mods are a bit harder to find unless you look in the right places. With the shogun sport being a bit of a hybrid L200 with a body on. But the universal parts can just be a case of make fit and custom brackets when needed |

Yup definitely not such a big marketplace for bolt on addons etc , you'll have fun with it though I'm sure and this is a great forum with friendly people so you're in the right place |
