Won't start when engine hot

Hi All, can anyone help?
I have a 3ltr v6 automatic shogun year 1995. When I start it the vehicle runs lovely but once I turn it off it will not start as it is hot. I only need to go a couple of miles but it still won't start until it is cold again.
I have replaced the engine temperature sensor but there was no improvement.
It has been suggested that maybe I should consider replacing the coil pack but other then that I am stumped for ideas so any ideas would be grate 🙂
