I have been reading up about the jacking points for a trolley jack and axle stands.

So at the front, the crossmember where the rear bash plate bolts to is where you use the trolley jack (red dot), then axle stands either side. Rear is jack under the diff (red dot) and then axle stands either side. Disregard the green arrow/points for this question.

If you put a trolley jack under the front cross-member, will you then be able to remove the rear section of bash plate? Or would it have to come off first....?

I have the bash plates off already. I need some room to dill out a center bash plate bolt that sheared off Rolling Eyes
