My insurance company does chip repairs for free - doesn't affect my no-claims.

I did try one the same as that once for a chip in my HGV screen, only because it was very cheap, the reason it was very cheap, it was also very *beep*.
Having done screen repairs with the proper kit I knew how to do it but you just can't enough pressure on the syringe to get all the air out of the chip
Save your money and get the insurance company to pay for the repair as Pete says doesn't normally effect anything and certainly with mine a repair is free

Mick is spot on. I tried a small kit and yes it filled in the crack, but left an air bubble - which actually looked worse.

Yeah i dont think i will bother with that kit , given that its only a few quid tells me its no good.

Thought id ask to see if anyone had any luck with them.

Will ring the insurance in a few weeks time as im going to insure it  this saturday.
