Hi guys.

My 2005 DiD LWB with rear air con is leaking refrigerant.
It's leaking from the usual place, the last main section of high pressure discharge pipe at the rear of the system.
I've ordered a new pipe which I'm picking up tomorrow, but have a couple of questions please.

1. Do I need to lower the fuel tank to fit this section, or can I 'jiggle' it into place over the top?
Just a bit concerned as I know the fuel filler pipes etc can have issues with mud/corrosion and I don't want to disturb anything just now as we're supposed to be going away towing in a week!

2. There are short 'tail' sections of pipe which go into the rear evaporator. There's just a tiny amount of dye visible where they enter. Whilst I'm at it I was thinking of having a look at this, I suspect its the white deposit from electrolytic corrosion and the connections need cleaning up?
Are there 'O' rings on these pipes where they enter the evaporator.
Main dealer said he can't see that there are but I don't want to clean these connections up only to find I do actually need new rings.
Any help much appreciated!!!  Very Happy
Cheers, Howard
