What are the mileages on each? How does the general condition compare?

How much do you value full-time 4WD?

I owned a DII TD5 in 2000, and I really liked it. I sold it locally and still see it every so often.  I thought it was thirsty, but it was nothing like as thirsty as my 2.8 Challenger (same body shell as Shogun Sport).  Comparing the two (all I have to go on) the Discovery is more refined and has better quality ride and handling. The electronic traction control/hill descent control is very effective.  The Challenger is cruder in its engineering, but probably less fragile because of it.
