Pajero 2004 - Center console wire question

Hi

I removed my center console and fount two wires soldered into two wires in the original wire harness. The cables was cut off and just laying around under the console. They where soldered into red/green and black/white. Any ideas on what this might be? Or what it has been used for?

If they were soldered on then they will have been added by a previous owner - could have been for anything.

Just insulate them or remove them.
