I used to have a mk2 2.8 td swb and I recall tweaking it a little by altering the fuelling and installing a couple of washers under the waste gate actuator to increase the turbo boost pressure.
Is this possible on the mk3 3.2 did?
If so, how would I go about it and what difference does it make?
Cheers in advance,
Max.

Hello

I think they are VNT turbos as Mark3 says controlled by the electronics.  Given it has more power, grunt and a far better throttle response than your washered 2.8 do you need more ?.

Regards Mark

You can fit washers.i did mine a couple of months ago and it does make a difference.
I did mine while replacing the v belts which gives better access.its still not that easy though.
I have a couple of other tweeks on mine though which make a difference.
