I know these things have cable operated locks. But does the door lock assembly on the mk3 shogun have positive and negative leads where I could tap the lock actuator wires of the keyless remote module?
IF the MkIII is the same as the MkII then there is a central locking module. The module has two wires - one is "unlock" and one is "lock". Earthing the "unlock" unlocks the car and earthing the "lock" wire locks the car.
Your central locking box will allow you to choose whether the wires connect to earth (negative trigger) or to 12V (positive trigger) and it should be set to negative trigger.
Then connect the box you have to the wires on the car.
Unfortunately I do not have any wiring diagrams for the MkIII
This is the wiring diagram for the MkII
You can see the two wires on the switch on the back of the door lock ( if you can't find the central locking module on your truck then you can connect to these wires)

Just to clarify. Let's say the wires for the lock actuator of the aftermarket keyless entry are coloured green and blue, so do I connect these two wires to the 2 wires of the locking module?
Just check in the instructions that the wires from your aftermarket box are "negative trigger" - if they are then just connect them to the truck wires.
