Sorry guys - been ages since i posted, apologies for not getting back to you all sooner.

So i have photographed every page of all the manuals however Abby Fine reader and Google translate are struggling to work with pictures as well as Japanese characters meaning im only getting half the information.

SO i pose two questions guys,

Firstly Have you any other alternate options in translating Japanese to English that can potentially take into consideration pics and text correctly ?

And Secondly - where does one put the hundreds of pages online so others can have access to them hopefully without the need for payment ?

Happy to hear options guys Smile

never used it just trying to come up with idea,s to try and help out...there must be something out there that can do a document translation, especially with today,s technology but given the volume of pages it probably would not be free  Exclamation

It might be worth contacting JPNZ to see how much it wil cost to translate,  I know that in the past there was an issue with how many they would sell verses cost.

I for one would be prepared to make a donation to help Razz

I was wondering if there was any progress either with the copies from the japanese originals or with the part number identification for the english version.

Would be willing to contribute a donation for either project.

Cheers

try partsouq.com
they have full parts listing in english.
also list available parts and prices

supposedly Mitsubishi recently sold all remaining evo specific parts to wholesalers and this is one of them.
so i assume once those parts are sold that's it except for 2nd hand stuff

Is anyone getting on with this?

I'm sure if you're struggling to find the time you could distribute your scans out to people to help with translation and formatting.
They'll be very hand for a lot of people

Can you put all the info you have on a flash drive and send it to me?
I can pay you what you need for it.
The problem is i rebuilt my evolution and have no info to give at the work shop.
Even with photo or numbers could be helpfull.
Waiting for your reply,
Thank you

I just had some manuals translated for other cars. It was about $100 per ten pages.  I can get a quote and we can crowd fund no probs if someone sends me PDFs in Japanese
