I am not sure I followed everything well, but is there a known issue with the kick-down?
As mentioned elsewhere, I just got a 3.5 GDi and it does not seem to kick down.
That being said, it changes up and down well. Accelerate gently on the motorway and it goes down a gear, accelerates and shifts back up when you lift off. So no real issue there.
Normal?
PS: I need to say that this is my first 4x4. So far I have always driven saloon cars and the only other cars in the household that have an autobox are german V8's of 367 and 525bhp. So maybe I got the wrong expectation? |
