Sealing sump on auto trans

My auto trans sump is dripping quite a lot.  I understand they don't have a gasket but use liquid sealant which Mitsubishi want £120 for!  What sealant can I use instead as there is obviously a few different types.

Is £8 better than £120?

If so then THIS should work as it is designed for use with ATF.

How does Mitsy get away with charging such ridiculous prices????
