Just purchased some PRO-TEC Diesel Fuel System Cleaner 375ml and there are no instructions on the can explaining how to use it. Can someone tell me which is the bast way to get the best results from this product. Thanks.

Pete,
Thanks for that. I had some conflicting messages from old posts regarding this issue. I could not believe there were no instructions on the can. Thanks again

No problem.

1:200 is 1ml in 200ml of diesel - so 5ml in every litre.

Put it in before adding diesel to the tank and it will mix as the diesel goes in.

As above; or, get a gallon fuel can and put half a gallon of diesel into it and add the fuel treatment, shake well and put it into the back of your car, when you fill up you pour the container into the tank and then fill up with diesel.

How often would you use this product? The Pro-Tec web site gives no indication of frequency.

Put the recommended amount in every time you put diesel in until the bottle is used up. Then a bottle every couple of months.

I use Archoil AR6900-D Max HERE

Easy to use - just 1ml in every litre of diesel every time you fill up - and the bottle has a handy measuring attachment. It is designed to be added at every fill-up.

It works very well and a litre lasts me ages.

Have a read HERE - I have a mpg meter fitted to my 2.8 and it has given me about 5 miles extra per gallon of diesel.

Is this any good ? Pro-tec used to be available from the club shop a number of years ago and was very popular.
