|
|
Hi
Whilst browsing (and much looking for) I found a website with an online version of "what Mitsubishi has in their service centres".
The database contains many cars... and you can click further down into models, year, parts, exploded diagrams etc..
The database also includes the original Mitsu p/n + description (English) ...AND most parts (when clicked) link to a price in euros website.
This database looks very very very similar to what I was looking at recently inside the Mitsu service centre with the technician, when we were trying to identify the correct part.
Tech stuff from Russia <-- Click to link (then select your vehicle)
Now I don't know if people already know about this place and this database, BUT I just wanted to share this info. It has helped me many times identify a part before ordering the right part,..and get an idea of the part price.
Regards
Phil |

Real good find and you can save the pic's and print them out just what i've been looking for
much better than the haynes manual as well. |

No problem.
ANOTHER TOP TIP
I also used a computer program which saves internet pages for offline browsing when not connected to the Internet.
Just point it to your car's start page and press go.
You will end up with a permanent copy of this database saved on your own desktop !!... ..
.... SO you can take it with you on a laptop.... OR should the website go down / be removed, ... you still can use the database !
I am happy that it has helped others, because it bothered me that Mitsu Service Centres (where I am) are 'so' protective of their 'secret' database.
Moreover the website also does exactly the same for Toyota, Nissan, Audi, VW, etc... .... but then.....they're the opposition! |

I used "SiteSucker" which is only for the AppleMac. But there are others too for OSX.
There are literally 'hundreds' of other pieces of software for the PC (Windows) platform.
Basically, any software which "saves internet web sites/pages for offline browsing" will do the job.
As an idea of size. The whole database, saved on my desktop, specific for my car is only 35mb. Quite small really.
Each car's database would be approx. the same size. |

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro to download such multi-page information and to create a searchable indexed PDF. |
