Hi all,

I'm looking at fitting an Alarm to the Pajero.

I always thought Clifford was the best and always wanted one, loads of features, Intelligent Start, Coming home lights / courtesy lights, total closure (windows) and all that fancy stuff but I've been told the old Clifford went bust, has now been taken over by a Chinese company and the quality and reliability has all but gone.

Has anyone fitted any of the new Clifford stuff ?

An Auto-Electrician has recommended Cobra to me. About the same cost as Clifford, better quality, larger wires, more reliable but none of the fancy toy stuff I like.

  What's your thoughts ?

  Any advice appreciated,

Cheers James.

Clifford are a brand of 'Directed', which is a US organisation: http://www.directed.com/

I've recently installed an Avital alarm with a remote starting module, and all good so far.

i have a cobra not as kitted out as much as the clifford range but in an emergency brake my hazard lights come on by themselves other than that it has 3 immobilser points remote central locking and a siren louder than most emergency vehicles which is more than enough for me.. Wink
