any one out there with a aditional driver who has less than a year on a full license?
Tried flux,  got quoted close to £4k, tried aviva got close to £2k.
my wife past her test last year.  was not expecting this sort of premium for  a newish additional driver

I think most insurers are like that - it is to stop parents putting their young kids as additional drivers and then only the kid driving the car.

I had the same thing with both my kids

called around a few places cheapest i got was admiral at 750

good thing we didnt factor in surance others wise the mrs woulda nuked the plan to buy our shogun sport:)
