Apologies if a bone question but my elec wing mirrors dont adjist via the switch. Checked fuse box and they were ok so have just left them for now as i can see great out of them.

But was wondering if it would be an mot fail because they dont work off the switch?

Can adjust by hand if it helps

Many thanks in advance

Hello
Can't see why it would fail, as it is just the same as having non electric mirrors.

It is probably the switch causing the problem, there is a how to mend it here.

The official MOT guidance states "The vehicle will be inspected to check for the minimum number of mirrors, their condition and security. Indirect vision devices will also inspected."

So the switch not working isn't grounds for an MOT fail.
