The problem is that most of us on here have the Shogun/Pajeros with SuperSelect which have four 4-wheel drive lights.

Your Sport has a different system and only has part-time 4WD.

I have done a Google search and all the results mention the 4WD light (not lights) - so it seems that there is one light that illuminates when in 4WD and no illumination when in 2WD.

Best I can do I'm afraid.

The Sport transmission has a lot in common with the part time Mk1.  On the Mk1 there are no transmission lights when in 2 wheel drive. There are a number of lights when in the various 4 wheel drive positions.
