Slowly sorting out my 2007 shogun,although it's one step forward and two back at the moment,having convinced  my sat nav that it should show me where I really was it's now decided that the giudence voice should dissapear,have tried everything to get it back (radio audio even mutes at the appropriate moment but still no voice)'also reversing camera u/s (red and green lines apkpear but no video)on inspection pin in tiny connector corroded out,has anybody managed to graft on an aftermarket camera (it looks like video output cables different) thanks for your help every body

Regarding the sat nav audio, I once had a similar issue.  It's possible to turn the voice volume right down inadvertantly by pressing the lower volume control on the steering wheel.  If you do this to turn down the stereo just as the sat nav voice unexpectedly kicks in then you can mute the sat nav without knowing.  I hope that makes sense.
To turn it up again you need to increase the volume when the sat nav next speaks again, which you should now be able to recognise from the periods the radio/stereo is muted.
That may just be your problem.  As I say, I hope it makes sense.  It's difficult to explain.

Your main sticking point for grafting on an after market camera is that the OEM camera is 6.6v whereas after market cameras are 12v.
Saying that, you could use the original pin outs to carry the signal, and then a 12v feed from the reversing light to power the camera.
As to whether the OEM camera is PAL/NTSC and whether it's 480TV lines I don't know.
For the £8 they cost, it might be worth grabbing one and seeing if it works.

Forgot to say, the pin outs are:
Pin 41, White/Black Stripe 6.6V Positive
Pin 45, Violet - Ground
Pin 46, White - Signal
Pin 47, Black - COAX Shield

Edit - I think!  I don't have this functionality on my car, this is just something I found whilst researching.  Definitely worth double-checking with a multi-meter to be sure.
