Discussed with Diesel Bob about my thoughts about the injectors causing an overheating problem and some black smoke: Mk4 MY11 130,000 miles

He suggested I replace the EGR.

Having read a few posts on re-calibrating the fuel pump (or similar) after cleaning, servicing, replacing the EGR is that something that Mitsi will need to do, or will my mechanic (general mechanic, not a Mitsi specialist) be able to do?

Is there anyone on the forum that would offer to do the job in the Yorkshire/Lancashire area?
