So in my quest for all things Pajevo, i have come across this useful Fuel and ignition map from a Stock V55W Pajero Evo.

You want to know why the ol girl chews through Juice when you give her a bit .. See the Blue Bits in the bottom right of the Fuel Map, above 5000 RPM... 11.5...

Very Rich... I'm sure for the name of Safety but still ..

See Below !

Wicked. I am sure when you put a new air box in, will balance it out a little.  Laughing

no it will be worse..
i have tried every thing,

the ntk wideband i have installed shows some bad mapping in the ecu.

ie: anything over 10% throttle the o2 is in open loop 12.8-13.3 afr sometimes dips into the 11's + over 3500 rpm ish at any throttle opening. (mid to low 12's at trailing/ light throttle.)
following a big hit, and coming back to normal throttle but not lifting off, mid to low 12's afr. simple off throttle/decel fuel cut resets it into closed loop.

this is all with a super afc/super itc with less then standard settings. fyi settings for the afc/itc are 3000gt.

i am very tempted to install an aftermarket ecu. after i retrofit a 36-2 trigger wheel on the crank pulley since the unusual dual edge hall crank trigger setup is not readable by many aftermarket ecus.
<10l/100k on freeway >17l/100 around town economy. was worse when it was auto..

Really interesting info - i never used to consider using mine as a daily driver because of the fuel consumption UNTIL i bought an RS4 (4.2 V8) now those make the pajeros economy look awsome
