As above... Car is a Gen 4 2011 3.8L SWB... options are:

1) Lovell’s

Local dealer is Ramy.... can also do bash plates for same car but not much else.  Full kit.  No real experience of them.

2) Dobinson’s

AD is an agent (who were shut when I went end of last week...  Mad ), actual Dobinson’s shop is in Dubai, I know a guy there too, been off-roading with him. Tour guide we use also has her Patrol massilvely lifted with their kit, speaks highly of it and she’s worth listening to.  One of my preferred options.

3) ARB/OMU

Finally found the ARB shop in AD last week, it’s massive and single biggest source of Pajero accessories in UAE (its all 4x4 4x4 4x4... Pajero’s are no good here... seen a few badly driven 4x4’s getting stuck and well driven ones break... little Hermione Puddlejumper has seen them all off so far, including last weekend’s gruelling 1400km round trip to the Omani side of the Rub al Khali).... their kit all looks good, they also have a pukka 4 point low profile towbar in stock so leaning towards this for logistical reasons.

Apart from spunking a fortune on some Fox remote reservoir gas shocks (which we’re not doing... just bought some WP works forks and a shock for my KTM... it’ll see much harder use in the dunes)... that’s pretty much the local options.

What’s your thoughts / experience of these or others?  all feedback welcome / appreciated. Cheers. Smile
