|
|
Friends
I cannot find the sunroof drain locations on my MKII SWB. This is a factory fit sunroof - Tilt & Slide.
I open the roof and slide it fully back. And in each front corner I expected to find a drain hole? Nothing there that I can see?
In the corners I see a black plastic L shaped corner piece but no holes.
Any clues where I am going wrong. Or even better any pictures of the actual drains/locations.
I am leaking in water into th the front seats and it’s not pleasant.
Help please.

I just have a basic sunroof and from memory the drain holes are where you say you expect to find them. I cannot speak for tilt and slide sunroofs but in the winter I get a lot of condensation and it can really drip. |

Friends.
I still cannot locate the drains? I also can’t find and pics that show them on a MKII? This is starting to be a big issue as each time it rains my truck is flooding.
Any pics or pointers please. I am looking at the front edge corners with the glass roof open.
Happy New Year.

Beam
Thank you for your posts. The first post is still unclear, unless, I am being really thick (always likely). Your second post did not work?
It does look from the fist post that I have to strip out the rood to get to the drain, unless I can find the exit under the truck and blow it back upwards with my compressor. Now I cannot find the drain exit(s)? |

if not
there is a drain on the right hand side that goes down the A post
and a drain on the left hand side that goes down the B post
have a look underneath on the sills for a rubber plug
