Hi, has anybody any idea how to remove the second row of seats please? I can’t even see how to remove the plastic cover on the hinges! It is a 2005 3.2 DiD Elegance.

Absolute doddle. Flip the seats up. Insert a fairly wide flat blade screwdriver under any edge of the plastic hinge covers and flick them off. Using a 14mm socket and ratchet, undo the bolts holding the hinge plates to the floor. Remove seats...…..be aware that they are seriously heavy!!

Now, to save losing the fixing bolts, put them back where they came from and nip them up using same socket and ratchet.

Next, stand back and be astonished how much higher the rear of the truck is with them heavy seats removed! I do this twice a year to make room for two lots of carp fishing gear when my son and I clear off fishing in France.

Ian.

Hi Welder, thank you so much, I have just checked it out and as you say, “it looks a doddle!” I think I shall leave it until the weather gets a bit warmer though.

Again, thanks very much.

Best Regards, M4Nil
