After months of work under the Shogun and a whole wedge of cash. The first time I wanted to use her properly to tow a trailer. She has now developed a major fault, ie she won't rev and it is billowing plumes of smelly smoke. I have changed the turbo and pipes a month ago so now not sure I am edging towards fuel pump.
So I think I shall break her to try and recoup some of cash spent on her.

Is the smoke white or grey?

Grey usually denotes turbo failure so if you've changed the turbo it shouldn't be that.

You should check the turbo pipes and oil feeds to make sure they are in good condition.

I suffered a loss of power with plums of white smoke and it turned out to be some switches/relays under the engine that governed fuel supply.
