Hi.

Last summer I had the squab replaced on the Driver's seat - Guy in bolton did it IIRC.

It was a great job, however it's started causing me pain again.

When you feel the side padding by the door there's a really hard edge in there that digs into my thigh.

I'm an overweight large chap, which doesn't help, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and found a sensible solution.

Is it an easy job to gain access to the squab area? If so I could make some customer padding that might help, but if there's a know solution I'm all ears.

Steve

I've had a look under the seat and to be honest I can't see much.

Could anyone point me in the right direction for being able to get the seat squab off.

Feeling underneath the seat, about 2/5ths of the way back on the sides of the seat I can feel two bolts or nuts that could release the squab, but they could be a bit of pig to get at.

I can't see anything obvious at the front that has been suggested as the method for older models, unless they are hidden behind some plastic trim at each corner of the seat but I don't know how to get those off without breaking them.
