Wel after some great advise from this amazing community I flushed my rad on my 99 lwb 2.& today. Next job is undersealing! I’ve looked online and there’s lots of different things being spoken about, however I haven’t £650 for a proper underseal jobby but I do have access to a compressor at work but no spray gun (I can buy) so what’s the best route  here?

Undersealing is a doddle compared to the prep and rust removal that should come before it!

Buy a schutz gun and one can of schutz and apply it, get a large can of underseal and some cellulose gun wash thinners, mix underseal and thinners and refill your schutz container and spray.

Unless your planning to remove rust etc undersealing it a waste of time and money. If your not planning to do that ..then a rust converter and sealer .

Agreed, but what about actually prepping the surfaces? Took days of work to do mine, mostly just typicall surface rust but getting into the nooks and crannies is a heck of a job. I ended up with a needle scaler and selection of wire cups as the tools of choice but still bailed out on some areas as unreachable.

Buy some wire wheels, for drill and/or grinder. Some flap wheels, and clean the rust up. You may find bits need cutting out and welding.
If you have the space and time do it all in one go and then underseal.
If you dont have the time, do one section at a time.
