My 2009 LWB 3.2D has started to randomly cut-out.  Turns over fine.  When running, it's smooth as silk, pulls like a train.

Last couple of weeks, it randomly stalls when not under load when driving - i.e. when foot is off accelerator going downhill, or pulling up to roundabout.  Engine turns over absolutely perfectly afterwards.
No error codes at all (plugged by Foxwell in).  It "feels" like its just stalling like a really low idle.  It will idle at parked perfectly, no issues.  Just appears to be when "coming off accelerator".

Everything else is perfect.  Tried with/without the "resistor EGR fix" and makes no difference.

I have put it in the garage and disconnected the battery... will go out for a drive in 30 minutes to see if the "idle re-learn" solves this.  Some people say it works, some not.

As this is a Gen4 2009 168bhp, I am assuming/hoping that this is not a fuel pump issue.

2009 Should I believe be a common rail set up, and not the dreaded pump...  If it is a DI-DC then it is common rail, much cheaper to repair any issues with than the previous pump.

Well, I did a bit of thinking.

The last time I did a refill, I did leave it a little late with 5 miles left in the tank.  Therefore, I think I may have got some *beep* introduced into the fuel system.  So, I ran down the diesel to half a tank (very easy!) then double-dosed on Redex and gave it a good run at high revs (3rd gear on the motorway) to hopefully clean it out.

It hasn't stalled or lumped on me yet, despite trying.  So fingers crossed.

MOT in the next couple of weeks, so will ask for a fuel filter change too, in case I have managed to get it all gunged up with running the fuel far too low.
