Hi All,

Just got a LWB 03 Shogun/Pajero and noticed the front 12v lighter socket not working, however, having checked the 15amp fuse...all fine.  I then tried replacing the 12v socket and that then blew two 15amp fuses on after another.

I took the lower dash panel off to achieve this and now my LED display is not working (presume I have reconnected the cables correctly?)

Secondly, if the lighter socket is not working but the fuse is ok...what could be the problem?

Many thanks in advance for all/any help in advance...

On the back of the lighter socket is a quick blow fuse wire which i know does blow, a little bit of soldering and a new fuse wire may solve the problem. If you remove the connectors from the socket test if you get 12v from the car loom, this could show if your socket is duff.
