Well its been a while, i had a Pajero Evo for a few years and would frequent this site for info, very sad to see a few of the old regulars have passed that was a bit of a shock. Well i'm thinking of getting another shogun/paj just want a cheap and cheerful to bang the dogs and sprog in the back and go off on an adventure, i want a LWB but am currently stuck on petrol or diesel !!!! Having owned an Evo Paj i know petrol can be thirsty but that's not a massive issue as it will be a second car anyway so really the question is which would carry the miles better be less problematic or generally cheaper easier to repair !!! i'm only looking at spending around 3k which seems to get a03/04  3.5 GDI or 3.2 DID on 120k ish. I'm not ruling out the older shape either BTW just seems to be a bit more choice in the newer generation. Anyway anybody who's had or experienced both would be great to hear from Oh oh oh plus i'm slightly worried about the " Diesels are the work of the devil i tell you" brigade but i'm thinking if i end up with a diesel it will l be too old to worry about Thanks in advance chaps
