Pulled the whole lot out and fitted a viper today. So much better.

I’m going to finish connecting it up tomorrow and get it to fold the mirrors when locking.

Hi
I've just bought a Shogun with only a single alarm fob so I'm nervous of getting locked out, especially after doing some reading on these alarms. On one of my other cars I have removed a 90's alarm and replaced it with a remote locking fob (£8 ebay) which has been totally reliable unlike the old alarm. I'm thinking of doing something similar with the Shogun.

Is the alarm wiring part of the vehicle loom or will I be able to pull it out without trashing the loom? It seems they were fitting after arriving in the UK but I don't yet know if Mitsubishi put the wiring in place before shipping them over here.

Any knowledge and advice appreciated!

cheers
Mark
