Hi,

Someone has done a right job on my Shogun and hacked off the catalytic converter (I'm absolutely gutted Crying or Very sad ). They hacked the pipes either side of the cat to get it off. I assume they wanted the cat intact to put on another vehicle.

The sensor has also been taken and the wiring harness hacked as a result.

The vehicle is undriveable as result of the damage. It starts but has no power.

I have tried to get hold of replacement parts, but the availability seems to be zero. Even Mitsubishi dealer is having trouble locating parts.

Does anyone know where I can source the parts from?

I guess I need the front pipe (with the y-fork) the cat and the middle box and the exhaust sensor. Plus the gaskets.

Regards,

Nigel

Hi,

Yes, I have tried Milners and other specialist Japanese 4x4 companies. I have even tried scrap yards with no luck.

This type of car does not seem to be well supported. I may end up having to scrap the car if I can't get the parts.

I very recently bought the front y-piece that you refer to for my 2001 swb from viamoto. Same price as dealer and very good service. I also needed a front link to the exhaust manifold but that was no longer available. I would have thought the cat and silencers would still be available aftermarket from somewhere.
