Can the big nut at the bottom of the steering rack be tightened? I have a small leak just at the nut. |

If it is the nut I an thinking of, No, they are torqued up to a specific torque. |

I drained all fluid out and replaced with comma psf with some sort of conditioner for the seals. No drips so far! So hopefully sorted anyway. |

Never worked for me - I went for a re-conditioned rack in the end. |

If it is the large nut with either a bolt or grub screw in the middle then it can be altered but you have to do both together to set it correctly, and know how to do them. |

No, it's more like the head of a bolt like a 22mm or something. It's the lowest point of the steering rack. |
