Hi, got a 1994 Paj 2.8 auto, whilst fitting new brake pipes we noticed a heavy positive lead just hanging down the left hand side of the block. When we traced it back, its the main positive lead from the 2nd battery, can somebody tell me where it should be conected to, im thinking the starter motor, but l dont like guesswork with wiring!! The battery is obviously flat as a pancake. Would be greatful for any advice, cheers..

Yes your right it should be bolted onto the starter motor along with the main power lead from the front battery,  both leads on the same terminal.

Disconnect both battery earth leads while doing this (always good practice)

Now if this battery is just flat connecting it into the system will charge it but if it's defective it will drain the good battery so I would suggest remove it,  charge it off the vehicle and get it tested before connecting it into the system   Very Happy
