Hi,
I have a fault developed on my 1993 2.8 LWB Paj. The interior light and dashboard light for door open is staying on. I have checked all the door switches and they all seem to be working correctly, which points to the Boot Door. I have looked for a switch, but can't see one, so am guessing it is in the door catch.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can easily diagnose and point me to the best way to resolve this issue.

Thanks so much in advance.

Sky

The door switches are easy to remove (single screw) i think from memory there push to break switches so when the door is open the circuit is made, so a simple test to see if its the door switches is to take the switch out one at a time disconnect it and see if the light goes out. I think on my mk2 it was a single wire and the screw makes the connection to earth. I used to touch the connection (that went into the switch) to an earth point and the light came on basically bypassing the switch but it will let you know if the switch is faulty.
Sorry can't help with the rear door as havent done that one
