Once again advice sought before I tackle my next project.....on my SWB 2005 3.5 GDI Shogun

Tow bar now fitted just need to wire up the electrics. So the question is do I need to fit a bypass relay or can I just fit the basic 7 pin system?

Bypass relay is not required for these cars, but it's worth putting one in as it'll monitor the trailer flashers with a beep and also gives protection of the lighting circuit from a dodhy trailer blowing fuses.
