ooooo poo did dealer do work,also were did you get the parts if you still have any contact numbers.how long did it take for them to getting round to found out the problem also did anything cause it to start or just wear on engine,any help please as im going to do job myself,once somebody as told me problem. |

a local garage did it,engine out and complete strip down to find that one of the main bearings had turned on the crankshaft, down to poor service by one of the previous owners i would say. Crank came in from Japan £1300 took 6 weeks by the time all the parts arrived. |

Yes all parts from Mitsi. The crank was bent found out when they sent it to be reground. The evo bottom end is quite soft |

Good day all,
need to replace L/H camshafts with holder assembly and sprockets on my EVO.
can anyone tell me if parts are common to any other 6G74 DOHC engines or are we out of luck as the OEM parts are now out of production ?
thank you in advance to anyone with any information. |
