Hey !!

I know this is probably an obvious question, but not sure what the light idicates. Friend has just got a 3.5 petrol & this light is on permanently.

Any ideas why it would be on ?

Thanks in advance of the obvious answer  Embarassed  Embarassed

I Pretty much sure that is a ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System) Warning Light,it Light up when the system have some are malfunctioning,Ask your friend to check both Electronic and Mechanical system on the car to kept safety,This system usually prevent the wheel to Lock when Hard Braking, quite effective when raining or on a slippery road but in dry road it's usually allow the road wheel to turn a circle before the wheel stops,an MK-1 has not have any ABS and the brake peformance is quite good if the shoes are in good condition, you can ignore it if you want to!Hope this can help!
