Hi all, we have a 92 Pajero 4D56, the 40A fusible link keeps blowing which seems to only affect head lights, side and tail lights, brake lights all interior dash etc work ok, everything else works, wipers heater fan the lot.

Although the electric fan was running flat out for no reason all the time since this happened, I believe this is the a/c fan? a/c has never worked on this beast.

Just wondering if anyone has a clue where to start, or if this has been seen before, this is my Sunday job this week  Laughing

Yes, it was 2 wires from the alternator rubbing on the steering shaft.

The fan is still running flat out so I just pulled the link for now, will try and fix before next summer Wink
