I have a 2004 elegance with the original satnav fitted, it all fires up and I can select a destination but when it starts it seems to be somewhere else in the country and not where I actually am.  Can anyone shed any light on what's causing this please.

Is it always the same place in the country that it starts?

I confess, I don't know anything about that Satnav in Shogun, but sometimes a Satnav has a 'demo mode' for display in a shop - If your satnav is based on a commercial model then it might have inadvertently
got into demo mode.
