What do you mean illuminate?

Do you mean when the lights are on and it lights up, or do you mean it doesn't light up and flash with the hazard lights switched on?

They do not light up when you put the lights in and they only flash with the hazards switched on.

That's strange - the MkII switch illuminates with the dash panel lights.

Hi,
On further checking mine does illuminate when switching on lights but does not flash in unison with the indicators like alot of cars do, my first check I did was without turning lights on.

The MkII also flashes with the hazards.

I assume that the MkIII should as well. I had to change both bulbs inside my MkII switch.

They do not light up when you put the lights in and they only flash with the hazards switched on.

It doesn't light up at all,not when pressed or otherwise, the switch is plastic riveted to the facia but also held with two screws, doesnt seem a way to replace the bulb.

yes, mine does, but very dim like the rest of the switches.one gripe with my mk2 and this mk3 shogun, that the instrument panel could be brighter as you always have the option to tone down, but to dim on max for my taste.
