Ok folks so
Just had a Luk clutch fitted and picked up from guy who did it for me, he’s a good mechanic friend of mine so I have all trust in his work,
On driving it back a short distance the clutch is still slipping on hard acceleration
Would the rocker cover cause this as it’s leaking quite badly so this is the next job.

Any ideas on what’s causing this is greatly appreciated as it’s started to give me a bad idea of buying the son of a preacherman thing now lol
Thanks in advance

No, a leaking rocker cover would have to be spewing out to even get any oil near the clutch.

Normally there is an adjustor to adjust the rod length and if a previous owner has incorrectly adjusted it to allow for clutch wear, when you fitted a new and thicker clutch it will be partially engaged at all times. You could also have a binding or incorrect thrust bearing fitted and this would be permanently pressing on the plate and partially engaging it.
