Vibration from engine /gearbox when acceleration

Hi all new to the forum and owners club , just wondering if anyone else has had vibration problems with their manual gearbox when accelerating

Check the engine mounts as well as the gearbox mounts.

...and the joints on both propshafts, the harmonic damper pulley's condition if the engine in yours has this (rubber cracking, bond failing or perished). Then there's the gear knob, is it the original? I chased a vibration around the drivetrain on a UAZ that we ran some years ago and the slightly lighter aftermarket gear knob (I'd post a pic of that but this is a family board.. Embarassed ) had been causing the annoying symptom that in turn caused the previous UK owner to part with the truck.. Cheaply!

Good list of things to check. We will be working on a Pajero soon and it needs a lot of parts to check including some vibration.
