Hey guys, I have a 2002 Mitsu shogun 3.2 Did lwb, standard suspension and wheels but looking at upgrading for a bigger, meatier stance, I'm at a complete fresh start here so anything will help! Any ideas on body lifts/suspension lifts plus wheels and tyres?
Please help this noob hahahahaha

My opinion (there will be many different views): don't go for more than a 50mm lift. Don't go to springs which are unnecessarily "heavy duty" - decide the maximum weight you want to work within and select springs for this. Stick to wheel sizes for which tyres are readily available. particularly if you are going to travel in "remote" areas, where the range of tyres available is limited. I wouldn't go for rims bigger than 17 in. Go for a reputable manufacturer (Dobbinson's, OME) and buy a complete package.  We chose Dobbinson's kit, with a 160 Kg "upgrade on GVM), and a 50mm lift. It's working perfectly for our needs.

If you are looking for highway tyres, you might want to check out the RB-SUV Ironman Tires. It's very affordable and offers a comfortable and stable ride while on the road.
