Dear POC Members,
I have a 4M40 injector pump and it is stalling with hard starts. I know i disturbed the horizontally mounted ( green capped) solenoid on the return/inlet pipe junction. Just
not sure if it has a plunger and or spring as I may have dropped them accidentally?
What is the exact setup and operation of this solenoid?
Please assist |

Simon,
Many thanks for your quick and kind feedback. It may appear that what I thought was missing is not mentioned on biopowered.co.uk/wiki/Mitsubishi_Delica_fuel_system. Just still not sure if the plunger with spring comes with the fuel return solenoid... Any further assistance will be highly appreciated. |

My pleasure. I'm sorry, but I can't shed any more light on this for you other than to say that I am pretty certain that the solenoid will operate a plunger to divert the fuel. Given that this will only work in one direction, there's bound to be a spring in there too. |
