Did do a lot of searching but didn't really get far in finding a solution that won't cost a fortune... saw these on ebay so just wondered if anyone knew anything about them. Tempted to give them a go and can post a review etc for others.
Not sure whether to go for 45mm or 60mm? I know the general rule is don't go over 50mm but is that the size of the spacer or the actual lift? With these it seems the 60mm lift uses 40mm spacers.
I have little experience or knowledge of the MkIII - all I can advise is that on the MkII you have to be careful not to lift too much because it puts the front CV joints under strain due to the increased angle they have to work at. This will lead to premature wear on the joints and splitting of the boots. I assume the MkIII would have similar problems.

Correct Pete and it also throws out the camber and castor settings and there could be potential problems with the shocks, and everything from brake pipes to the steering rack.
