Thanks for an excellent, easy to follow guide to a procedure that will save money for anyone needing to overhaul these and many similar units that most people would discard, assuming the fan to be beyond repair.
I can think of a few other Japanese vehicles where this same procedure can also be applied.

hi all cause of lock down i remembered i had a spare condenser Fan which i bought off ebay and fitted it and it didnt work then i noticed the Live Wire on the back of the fan had broken off some how so ive tried to resolder it back on took a while but i managed in the end and sealed it up with silicone and fitted it to my Motor and WOW all is working again as it should kicks in on and off can hear relay and all. now im wanting to repair my other fan i know the brushes have gone and i need use copper carbon brushes but ive read Silver Carbon brushes are better cost more but last longer any thoughts about this ???
