very nice job mate an very nice looking truck . a quick question for you . i just aquird a mk1 my self removed the side steps an bull bar junk and was thinking of lifting the suspension with lwb springs and the t/b wind . i looked underneath and t/b are wound riteup to the cross member so its allredy been done or they need re indexing to do . i dont supose you no what the mesurement was from center of hub to bottem of arch was as standerd so i can check it aint allredy bin done . if i can get it looking half as good as yours ill be a happy bunny

Hi

Sorry don't know the measurement, the front normally sits slightly lower than the back, so if you have standard springs and the front is a bit lower then it hasn't been done, also after about 2" of winding the bars up you will have about an inch between the upper wishbone bumpstops and their mating surface... I have cut all my bumpstops in half to give more travel. I would imagine they just need reindexing... although when you say they are wound up the arm does go a long way up inside the crossmember they are fixed to...

This is a picture of mine before I wound them up, one is also further up than the other....

how comes your mk1 looks to have 6 wheels  Laughing

I've always said I don't know why more people don't use Cherokees to do up in the UK since they all seem to ge so cheap...

The 2.5 diesel v the 4.0 HiOutput version, worth the extra coins for it?

I've read a few blokes who leave the stock danas on and don't complain but the yankee forums all swap em out, are you doing this purely for the ratios for bigger boots?

I would have thought the 2.5 diesel would have been pretty popular here but is the engine poor or underpowered?

Good luck with the project mate I'm sure it will turn out eye-poppingly good  Cool

Although Pete hasn't been on here for a couple of years, since he sold the Paj, had a crack at a 4x4, then moved to a Disco, he's probably happy to give advice.

Last I knew he was running a sandwich shop in Hessle. I don't have a contact number I'm afraid.

Kanske världens största OEM-tillverkare av belysning till fordon och maskiner. De har oändligt mycket produkter och är mycket duktiga på att leverera godkända produkter. Vi får oftast hela deras sortiment på kort tid.
