Oh well mark3 you have clearly never run an Evo.
Using Mivec and not doodling along you get at best 12-17mpg
Else where in this forum owners have fitted Apexi AFC Neo to reduce mpg and increase performance
So I am following what others have done

That sounds like a good craic
The Evo is something else being limited edition, character and well defined history which showed it was a vehicle to reckon with in its day
BHP is cheap to generate nowadays but 90hp at the wheels on a mark3 Cooper s was fantastic at one point in time

Hello!
What exactly do you need? I didn't connect such a device, but I did the 6g74 mivec brain pinout. True, I wrote in Russian, but translating into English is not a problem.
I do not quite understand why you chose this particular device. If you're not afraid to play with fuel cards, wouldn't it be better to use the Tatrix port and the Ecuflash program?

Hi Vinson I chose the Apexi as that seemed popular to what others had used in this forum. Plus our local rolling road guy is familiar with Apexi having fitted them to other cars.
I am not experienced in this equipment so not familiar with Tatrix etc even though some have talked about it here.
Anyway due to lockdown and C19 I haven't fitted it yet but I am prepared to take on board your suggestion if I knew more about it.
What I have been looking for are the correct pins to connect the Apexi to . I have a wiring diagram of an Evolution so going to work from that and older diagrams of wiring used for this 6g74 unit
Cheers

Hi!
You can safely use the connection diagram for 6A12 mivec and 6g72 mivec. They should be indicated in your instructions. I found this instruction on the Internet today. One thing was not clear to me, in this instruction - the connection of the Mivec wires was not indicated. Although there is an indication for the Vtec system. But you can, I think, you can safely use the connection principle for the Vtec system, only for the Mivec wires according to the pinout.
Another hint, you can see the wiring diagrams of Mivec controllers from Field and Data system. Their instructions indicate where and which wires.

I did speak to Apexi in USA and the guy couldn't help much for our specific engine as you say. But he said it was straight forward and not complex. I don't want to play with the Mivec settings, juts really to easy fuel consumption and hope she with breath better.
Your contact has inspired me to get on and get this job finished
Thanks for your input
Cheers

If you get this done I would love to know the wiring. I have been searching for a long time on how to do this. None of the local shops have a clue and like you other than people saying they have done it can't find info on the how

Hello!
You need a M3-b connection pinout. It fits Pajero Evo.
two red wires are +,
black and brown wires are ground -,
green for RPM,
gray for throttle position.
Then take the MAP sensor wire and cut that wire. It turned out two ends. Connect the first end that goes with the ECU to the yellow wire, and connect the second end to the white wire.
Orange wire goes to the illumination!.
If you need to connect Mivec, then see the Vtec connection diagram.
Naturally, you need to check your current instructions. Unlikely, but sometimes manufacturers may change the color of the wires.
The manuals have been translated into English. I don’t know the language and I understand that. At the same time, I'm not an auto electrician, but I would easily connect this thing. The only thing, I would use an adapter between the native wiring and the ECU, so as not to spoil the wires of the native wiring.
